Legislation Modernization:
It’s Time to Act

FOCUS GROUPS & MEMBER SURVEY: It’s Time to ACT

MEMBER SURVEY

For those who prefer to provide their feedback on their own, we’ve prepared a new member survey based on the questions from the Focus Groups. You can complete the survey here.

FOCUS GROUPS

Since our effort to modernize the Act began in January 2022, NBREA has sought — and received — a tremendous amount of valuable membership input. Input channels have included our membership-based advisory group overseeing this project, an initial member survey, meetings with local real estate boards, guidance from our Member Advisory Group through all stages of the project so far, a Member Forum at NBREA’s Annual General Meeting in 2023, and a project update and further input launch at our AGM in 2024.

It’s time to broaden the input we are receiving to include the membership at large, centred around focus groups for members. These intimate group sessions will provide a clear overview of the project and a concise summary of the proposed legislation before opening the virtual floor to feedback, input, comments, and questions. The dates below are the first set of focus groups; more will be scheduled in future depending on member interest! Click on the link below to register for a focus group on any date (below) of your choosing.

What have our Members Told Us?

As a profession, we simply can’t tolerate unethical and/or unprofessional practices. There’s no excuse for bad behaviour, especially when we are dealing with the largest financial transaction of most people’s lives.

The Little Blue House, NBREA’s official podcast, tackles topics of relevance to REALTORS® and the real estate market in New Brunswick. Check out this episode on our plans to modernize our Act.
